Situated in the ancient centre of Rome, the Museo del Corso was opened in 1999 and instantly qualified to join the international circuits of exhibitions and retrospectives. The Museum may be distinguished for its marked social and cultural vocation, having been created not only as a place where works of art are kept and may be enjoyed but also as a modern, versatile and cultural entertainment centre capable of meeting public demand.

For the new season of exhibitions and events to be held in the Museo del Corso, friends of the Museum may now subscribe to a membership card (Amici del Museo del Corso) which will allow holders to be actively part of life in the Museum and the Fondazione Roma and enjoy a series of benefits and amenities. This membership card establishes a privileged channel to gain entrance to special exhibitions free of charge, a discount on the season ticket for concerts performed by the Orchestra Sinfonica di Roma and, above all, to attend the series of events which are created especially for "friends of the Museo del Corso".
